Day 5 – Livigno

Day Five: 12/02/23

Resting Heart Rate: 90bpm (very unfit and lots of external life stresses)

Blood Saturation: 94

Really nice morning, I took my Mum down to Aquagranda to sit in the sun and read a book while I had a nice one hour swim. Unfortunately my Garmin didn’t work – it recorded time buy nothing else Errrrrr. I’ve slipped out of the habit of counting laps since relying on my Garmin!

Delwyn (Mum)

In any case, we had a lovely lunch in the bistro there while glued to the screens on the last day of the Women’s UAE Tour. I had my money on Lorena Wiebes for the win however she hit out a little too early and Mum came out on top with her prediction that Charlotte Kool would take the final stage to go with her stage one victory.

A short walk around town in the afternoon and a nice dinner while the sun was disappearing. At 7pm we started watching Seven Years in Tibet and feel asleep.

NO ankle pain today – YAY.

I’ll try an easy slow hike in my boots and crampons in the morning!

FINALLY!
