Day 2 – Livigno
Day 2: 09/02/23
Resting Heart Rate: 80
Blood Saturation: 90
Morning: I’ve just received a message from my doctor who said that I need to take another 3 days off the ankle, how frustrating!! So, I’ll be off to the indoor pool/gym for a swim, stretching and core work today. First objective today is to see if I can find an Orthopedic Surgeon in Livigno to take a look at my ankle.
Afternoon: Well, the pool was packed with Italian national team training so I decided to just head off and explore a little of Livigno – there’s a lot to see and I’ve only walked one little street! The fresh air is so nice walking in the sun…. the shady spots are freezing!
I went and hired a snowboard and boots (for 3 weeks) even though I’m not sure if I can use them until the doctor here takes a look at my ankle tomorrow afternoon. I have my monthly lift pass and monthly access to Acquagrande (pool & gym) organised.
Exercise: I would have walked a leisurely 10km today however I didn’t record a file as I stopped a lot to take in the scenery and do a little shopping. I found some great little boots I can sleep in (inside my sleeping bag) on Mount Everest.
